Day One Hundred and Forty-Nine
I decided to have a Girls Night In with my girlfriends and Dave (if you haven't picked it up yet, Dave is gay. This means that I see him as a girl walking around wearing a strap-on) because everyone has a Girls Night Out.
The evening was filled with sushi, wine, non-alcoholic champagne, DVDs, hubblies, blanket cuddling, shits and giggles!
Here is a snippet of what happened at our Girls Night In:

Having the Girls Night In was something I had always wanted to do and never had the time (or energy) to make happen. I'm grateful for the friends who came through, for the laughs that were shared and more importantly, I am grateful that we got the chance to be at peace in each others company - no judging or worrying or seeking - we were just living in the moment of sharing one night with each other; sharing who we really are without the masks.
There will be more.

Oh there BETTER be more! So much love, so much connection, so much simple human touch (without the touch, of course!) Mandy's fervent grasp of life and love; Laura's wordy word play and movie plottingness - and she knows the words to ALL the Disney songs, and Nikita's massive generosity and naughtiness. These make for feelings of friendship, and family, these are the good days.
