Day Two Hundred and Thirty Four

I'm mixing two days into one because I was lazy, but in a way I think it seems relevant that it happened this way.
My mother went home early this afternoon so I got to spend one more night with her where we went to the beach (no pictures unfortunately) and then headed to the hotel room where we plonked like over-cooked veggies only to find ourselves getting ready for the evening. Just as on the first day, when we had arrived wearing the same outfit we thought it would be fitting if, on our last night for dinner together, we wore the same outfits again, hehe - an original and a mini-me.We had a great night out and though I was feeling the call of the night more than my mother and so I gave into the call of the wild and followed my mom obediently back to the hotel room where we went to sleep.

I took this pic 'cause it reminded me of a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean
Walking on the way to breakfast along the coast
Breakfast for R20 at the Spur. No matter where you are - you can't go wrong.
Afternoon cocktails and my first taste of Love Potion
On the way to dinner - whiskey and brandy to pave the way
Cocktails to end the night - just as good as morning ones
Mom and I dressed the same
Enjoying wine while my mom is drinking champagne
The next morning we woke up early and started packing the bags we were suppose to have taken care of the night before, but with wine and champagne in our systems there's no way you can talk them out of an early night.
We caught the next available taxi and made our way to the second hotel I would be staying at - the Cabana Lifestyle Resort. Yes, this hotel is sister to the Breakers Hotel we stayed at and though there is one star difference between each hotel, the difference is huge. We arrived to smiling faces eager to find out how we were, our luggage was taken from us immediately, we were told when we could move into the room - it was fantastic!

After satisfying our tummies and having breakfast next to the pool my mother decided she needed some time out and made her way towards one of the pool loungers. I, on the other hand, didn't want to roast in the sun (being a red head makes you more aware of sun burns than anything else) and therefore made my way towards the cocktail lounge (don't stress, I didn't drink anything). It wasn't long that my mother met up with me and we began to wait for Richard to arrive.

He arrived all smiling and dressed in the right attire - shorts! We made our way to the pool deck where we wasted time catching up and quinching out thirst in the heat of the morning and then decided to make our way to the rooms. I won't bore you with the details of lazing around the flat and getting groceries for the night, but I will tell you that my mother left on a jet plane back to CPT and myself and Richard were left to our own means.
We decided to kill time by running off to the beach where we soaked up some last minute sun and laughed at tourists swimming in the sea. They couldn't keep themselves above water because the tide was so strong and with them rolling towards the shore and digging their bikinis out from their cracks, it was no surprise that myself and Richard were in stitches with laughter.
We then made our way to the room where we freshened up and decided to go for dinner.

This blog has already dragged out too long for any fan, so here are some more pic's to keep you eager:

All in all, it was a super awesome day and now I'm so tired my body seems to be falling asleep on me.

Good night sweet world
