Day Two Hundred and Sixteen

Last year I did an advert-shoot for a video production company called 50MM.

I remember going to the make-up artist and hair stylist where I spent a good few hours there before we drove to our destination. My mother was seated next to me, being the pillar of my strength by keeping me alert and alive with cheeky comments.
We had arrived at the same time as Alana van Heerden, the designer of the wedding dresses and before we had time to soak in the forest surroundings, both myself and Alana were piled into a room where the dresses could come to life. When I first saw the dresses, my breath was taken away as I felt like a princess in each one and yet I couldn't soak up the material fast enough. My biggest fear that day was leaving the dresses dirty and tatted - allowing them to lose the charm which held them in place.

After finding Wynand crouching behind his camera, setting the scene, he soon jumped in with his humor and put me to work - giggling and laughing like a two year old, I couldn't get enough of his sweetie jokes.

At the end of the day, this video is what showed after our hard work.
