Day Fourty-One
Waited an entire month to watch the Manchester United vs Ajax Cape Town soccer match at the CPT Stadium and finally the day arrives.
The best part of the entire day was running against the wind with Richard Kuiper and having to be fetched, because the wind was so strong, I was running like a lunatic in one spot. Absolutely amazing going against nature like that.
The second highlight of my day was getting two balloons blown up which, when banged together made the most epic sound around. The glares I got were well-worth all that banging.
The third highlight was speed waking around the stadium during half time in a desperate search for a cold-drink stand. Because of this "taking a break from drinking" phase, I've realized that alcohol is EVERY WHERE. Needless to say, we skipped the
cold-drink and landed up at a local BP on the way home.
The fourth highlight was 2 minutes left of the game, where Manchester United found their balls and scored a goal, leaving the score a whooping 1 - 1.
Much better than 1 - 0 to Ajax Cape Town.
